Description:

Grace Huntley Pugh (American, 1912-2010), two pieces of young children, both oils on artist board; "But I Wanted Chocolate/Lolly Pop", depicts toddler with blonde hair and big blue eyes holding green lollypop, unsigned but two labels from Rockport Art Association shows affixed verso, small puncture hole above right shoulder, ss: 10 1/2" h. x 8 1/2" w.; along with portrait of baby, possibly same child, laying on stomach with a loosely painted toy in one hand, signed and titled "baby gracie pugh 1954" lower left, artist-generated label with biography affixed verso, ss: 13 1/2" h. x 16" w.; both with wear consistent with age, including aforementioned puncture hole, etc., neither examined out of frame.
