+HISTORICAL BLUE STAFFORDSHIRE: Four plates and two bowls of "Landing of General Lafayette at Castle Garden, New York, 16 August 1824", by James and Ralph Clews, Burslem, England, 1815-1834, all with impressed maker's mark on base and range from dark to medium cobalt blue, wear consistent with age and use including scratches, heavy wear to finish overall but especially to rims including minor roughness/ flea bites, one bowl with hairline to rim and firing imperfections, one plate with deep knife marks, etc., all sold as is, bowls: 8 3/4" diam.; plates: 9" diam.
