HISTORICAL BLUE STAFFORDSHIRE: Two English transferware plates, including: "Landing of General Lafayette at Castle Garden, New York, 16 August 1824" transferware plate by James and Ralph Clews, stamped on back, wear consistent with age and use including minor scratches to surface, 9" diam.; and "Vue Du Chateau Ermenonville" by Wood & Son, wear consistent with age and use, some roughness to edge, knife marks, etc., 10 1/8" diam., both pieces sold as found.
