Historical Staffordshire transfer-ware platter "Palace of St. Cloud, France", by Ralph Hall of Swan Bank Pottery Works, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England, c. 1830, cobalt blue transfer print on porcelain, pattern part of the Picturesque Scenery Series Hall was known for, depicts well appointed figures strolling the manicured grounds of a French estate, floral and fruit border, glazed mark on reverse includes "R. Hall's" above signifying a creation date of 1822- 1841, also impressed with number "14", wear consistent with age and use including short knife marks to obverse, some scratches on reverse, expected craquelure of glaze, 17 1/2" l.
