Jacques (Gaston Duchamp) Villon (French,1875 - 1963), "Petite Boudeuse (The Sullen One)", 1905, drypoint and aquatint, Ginestet/Pouillon 129, ii/II., signed lower right in pencil above blind stamp of Edouard Sagot, Editeur, Paris, edition of 50, numbered "No. 8" in pencil lower left, framed and matted behind glass, old applied label verso, wear consistent with age including light toning, uneven mat burn to edge, scattered foxing and waving of paper, etc., plate size: 13 1/2" h. x 9" w. [VERBAL PROVENANCE: From the Estate of a Connecticut Physician. Consigner purchased the piece from John Wyss, proprietor of Raymond & Raymond of Hartford c. 1965.]
