Louise Altson (nee Vandenbergh) (American, 1910-2010), watercolor and two dry point etchings, all framed, details include: first etching "Silenus Drunk" depicts Silenus being pulled off a donkey surrounded by several helpers, pencil signed lower right "L. Vandenbergh" below in-plate monogram, titled lower left, plate: 8 ¾" h. x 11 ¾" w.; second etching "Bargers" depicting four men on shore pulling the line of a barge, signed in pencil lower right "L. Vandenbergh" and monogrammed in-plate top left, titled lower left, plate: 5" h. x 10" w.; and watercolor on paper, depicts industrial landscape with smokestacks near water, signed lower right, framed, ss: 6" h. x 8 ¼" w. all framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, wear consistent with age, light toning, sold as is. [Provenance: family descent ownership to the current owner, son of the artist; Louise Altson was the daughter-in-law of Abbey Altson.]
