Louise King (American, 20th C.), four "mud ponies", pottery sculptures of horses bulbous bodies, short necks and long legs: largest on flat ovoid base, matte grey, white and brown glazes, unsigned, damage to one ear, 14" h.; second largest with grey and spotted white glaze, long tail, on rectangular base, unsigned, some cracking at joints, 11" h.; medium sized pony with mottled, cement- colored glaze, with short tail on rectangular base, signed, 9 1/2" h.; and a stylized pony with fold-over slab body, large tail and arched neck, with impressed foliate design, signed on base, 3 3/4" h., all pieces with some hairline cracks from natural aging.
