Marc Chagall (French/ Russian, 1887-1985), "L'horloge a Vitebsk (The Rooster and the Clock)", 1950, etching with aquatint in colors on wove paper, [Maeght 1202], ed 105/300, signed and numbered in pencil in lower margin, printed by Georges Visat c. 1956 and published by Maeght Editeur, Paris, framed and matted behind conservation glass, wear consistent with age including light even toning throughout image, mat burn to border, scattered pin-head sized spots of foxing, 1" and 1/2" horizontal tears from edge of paper into border on right side which does not extend into image, plate size:12 1/4" h. x 9 3/16" w., sheet size: 18 1/2" h. x 15" w.
