Meissen egg-form inkwell, German, late 19th C., porcelain with cobalt glaze and gilded trim, removable top with acorn finial and three cartouche on cobalt ground lifting to reveal a fitted interior, supported by three Egyptian caryatids, resting on a circular base with hand-painted floral decoration, marked with cross-swords in blue under glaze to base and underside of top, light wear consistent with age and decorative use, light rubbing, etc., 6" h.
