MINIATURE: Portrait of an 18th C. gentleman on oval support, housed in tested 14K yellow gold case with solid back with pendant hook as well as pin, depicts older man in powdered wig and blue jacket with gold buttons, 20th C. label reads "Deacon Richard Hale, said to be the father of Nathan Hale, c. 1740", framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, wear consistent with age and use, ss: 1 1/2" h. x 1 1/8" w. [Total weight including non-gold parts: 8.9 grams]
