Nine blue and white transfer decorated Staffordshire, England, early 19th century, including: four pieces stamped "J & W Ridgway", including: "Christ Church, Oxford" plate, 10" diam.; "Radcliff Library Oxford" plate, "Downing College Cambridge" saucer; "City Hall New York" plate, heavy wear including cracks, chips, and repairs; along with a teapot, decorated with large architectural structure, 5" h.; two unmarked plates with landscape scenes; oblong dish, imperfect application of landscape scene, repaired; and leaf shaped sauce dish, all pieces with wear consistent with age and use including wear to surface, abrasion, repairs, and minor damages.
