Norton (possibly by Clara Mamre Norton, Connecticut, late 19th C.), oil on canvas depicting large brass urn of heavy-headed pink hydrangea, signed "Norton" and indistinctly but possibly dated "1917" LR, frame bearing plaque inscribed "Clara Mamre Norton", two repair patches visible verso, one in upper third right side, one near center along bottom edge, each corresponds to either indentation or color difference recto, expected surface wear to frame, not examined out of frame, ss: 26 1/8" h. x 18 1/4" w.
