Olympia 11 1/2" dia. music box #10176 along with 40+ perforated zinc discs, c. 1900, beveled oak case with carved anthemion and egg and dart motifs, underside hinged lid decorated with sepia lithographed oilcloth insert depicting pheasant and hunting horn, interior fitted with double comb and long bedplate, "The Olympia" as well as "Start/Stop" and "Fast/Slow" labels adhered interior case, wooden handled crank located right side, expected wear including checking, minor finish loss at top, and minor edge loss to front left case, cabinet measures 9 3/4" h. x 16 1/8" w. x 15 1/4" d.; along with 44 discs ranging in subject from holiday, religious, patriotic, military, opera, Southern, dance and popular ragtime music, all discs stamped with "The Olympia" label and depicting seated woman and Cupid playing violin, some four digit codes and song titles only partly legible, expected wear including scratches and isolated corrosion.
