One signed Marblehead pottery bowl plus one attributed, early 20th C.: one conical form with mottled mustard colored glaze, impressed stamp mark c. 1915, 3 1/2" h. x 8 1/2" diam.; and a bowl with low sides and similar mottle glaze, green, raised on small pedestal foot, pencil inscription to base "Marblehead Pottery", minor wear to rim and small 1/8" chip to rim, 2 1/4" h. x 7 3/4" diam. [PROVENANCE: Marblehead Pottery began in 1905 by Dr. J. Hall for the patients confined to a sanatorium located in Marblehead, MA. In 1916 production was removed from the hospital to another site under Arthur E. Baggs until it closed in 1936.
