Pair Chinese Famille Verte rouleau vases on 20th C. carved wooden stands, each depicting genre scene with aristocrats seated around low rectangular table on outdoor terrace drinking tea, painting scrolls, and conversing, bats, peaches, and flowers appear around celadon neck and shoulder, each bearing probably apocryphal Jiangqing Dynasty (1796-1820) marks underside, paper labels located underside bases, one stand with putty-repaired scroll, expected surface wear including minor glaze and gilt loss, vases measure 11 1/8" h. excluding stands. [Provenance: Successful bidder will receive photocopy of hand-written notes and drawing on tracing paper discussing dating of mark with NYC dealer reference.]
