Regency style brass and mahogany music stand, c. 1900, adjustable tripart rest with frame topped by urn shaped finial, cylindrical brass standard leading into turned wooden standard terminating in tripod base, adjustable stand height controlled by knob at mid-section, brass plate at center rest engraved "Presented to Mr. J. L. A. Firth by the members of the Lothersdale Orchestra in recognition of his valuable services as their first Tutor and Conductor, 1902", retail label from Mill House (Woodbury, CT) located on music rest back, checking, splitting, and past in-filling especially at base, minor loss to back left corner of music rest back, overall expected wear notably to feet, music stand height ranges from approximately 53 1/4" h. to 59 7/8" h.
