Running horse weathervane, American, 19th C., in the manner of A.S. Jewell & Co. of Waltham, Massachusetts, flattened molded body with applied ears, serrated sheet tail and mane, attached to metal support, heavy wear consistent with age and use including bullet holes to tail, body and face, bend/ damage to front leg, oxidation of metal, etc., sold as found, 17 1/8" h. x 24" l., along with iron directional with painted red columnar wood weighted base.
