RUSSIAN SILVER: Late 19th C. enameled gilt covered urn stamped 84 (approximately 875 out of 1000 parts pure silver), 1892, turquoise body decorated by three medallions, woman in Asian garments depicted at front, hallmarks located under base include unidentified maker's mark, what appears to be the assayer's mark of Anatoly Apollonovich Artsybashev (active 1888-1898), date, and Moscow city mark, apron section of woman's dress flaking and possibly retouched, large chip to LR hem of dress, isolated minor loss to floral decoration especially to cover, 7 5/8" h., 14.62 ozt.
