SCULPTURES: Copeland, William Henry Gross and Jones, McDuffee & Stratton, three parian busts of gentleman, English, late 19th C., all marked on base, details include: one of Charles Sumner, published by Jones, McDuffee and Stratton, impressed mark "J. Mc.D. and S." and quote "Equality of Rights is the first of Rights", slightly loose on socle base, 10 3/4" h.; second bust of Robert Peel by Copeland, known as the father of the British Police Force, after a 1850 sculpture by James Westmacott, illustrated in "Parian Phenomenon", page 186, fig. 615, 11" h.; and one third figure stamped "W.H. GROSS" for William Henry Gross, all with light wear consistent with age and use, sold as is, largest: 12" h.
