SILVER: Samuel Pemberton (English, reg. 1775) George III sterling church warden's pipe, 1811, Birmingham, simple form with horn shaped bowl (possibly used with a liner) and an elongated shank comprised of four pieces which assemble, hallmarks to bowl include lion passant, anchor, "n" (Birmingham date letter for 1811), and "SP" (maker's mark for Samuel Pemberton, entered 1775), wear consistent with age and use including small dents and scratches, etc., 16 7/8" l. (weight: .7 ozt. tw.)
