SILVERPLATE: Pair of Rococo style two-arm wall sconces, early 20th C., ornate silver on copper backplate with urn in crest flanked by pair of cupids resting on shield with central raised reserve surrounded by gadrooning on a fish scale field, lower portion of backplate with floral motifs and hanging fruit, scrolled arms with central bead turning, circular candle cups with lobed bases, drip cups with gadrooned band, electrified with faux candles, unmarked, wear consistent with age and use including scratches and loss of silver, unknown working condition, 15" h. x 9 1/4" w. x 7" d. [PROVENANCE: From the Connecticut home of the philanthropist Helen Gray and her late husband Harry J. Gray.]
