Six framed 19th C. prints and ephemera, including: English aquatint "Town of Hamilton", 1825, drawn on the spot by I. Clark, and published by Smith, Elder & Co., depicts a birds-eye view of the rolling hills and city center of Hamilton, two women in fields in foreground, wear consistent with age including foxing, handsomely matted and framed, not examined out of frame, sold as is, ss: 23" h, x 16 1/2" w.; and five American 19th C. framed letters and documents concerning Middlesex inhabitants ranging from 1819- 1892, topics include legal documents, an insane asylum patient, etc., all in matching frames and mats under glass, details include: Middlesex County legal document to the sheriff, dated Feb. 1821,12 1/4" h. x 7 1/2" w.; letter from Office of Selectman and Town Agent, New Haven, CT concerning the fees for Mrs. Emily Bissell at the Insane Hospital of Middletown, Dated Dec. 22, 1891, 10 1/2" h. x 8" w.; legal document to Sheriff of Middlesex County concerning money owed by Bartholomew Baily, dated August 23, 1819, 11" h. x 7" w.; legal document to the Sheriff of Middletown, summons dated Sept. 1819, 7 1/2" h. x 6" w.; Jail office letter, Haddam, Conn., dated Feb 9, 1883, to James P. Stone Esq from Minor C. Heagrew, license receipt, 9 3/4" h. x 8" w., all pieces with wear consistent with age and use including some creases, light toning, scattered small areas of foxing, one with small stain to border, etc., all sold as is, none examined out of frame.
