Six pieces of 18th-19th C. creamware with purple floral and foliate motifs, details include: two tea pots, one smaller cylindrical pot and one bulbous pot, unmarked, both with old Sotheby's stickers, ribbed form, foliate molded spouts, entwined vine strap handles, smaller teapot with floral knop on cover, smaller teapot with small chip on rim and tip of spout, largest with small chips to edge of cover and inner rim, both 4 1/2" h.; two octagonal plates with dark purple floral sprays and edge, both with hand-written "D. C. Towner" labels, 8" dia.; five finger vase with molded foliate base and neck, painted floral sprays throughout, 7 1/2" h. x 8 1/4" w.; one plate with foliate molder and painted edges and central transferred enamel design of ancient roman ruins, incised "L" or "J" on bottom, 8" dia.; wear consistent with age and use, sold as is.
