STERLING: Four pieces of American sterling silver hollowware by Gorham, Webster, International Sterling, and Mueck-Carey, all marked on base, details include: weighted compote by Mueck-Carey, N.Y., N.Y., c. 1945, raised rose border, dents and scratches, 8 1/4" diam.; oval scalloped rim bread dish by Gorham, stamped "27 Standish", 12" l.; round bowl with shaped rim and raised scroll decoration by International Sterling, monogrammed "F" at center, small dents and scratches, 8" diam.; and last a small ashtray with linear decoration by Webster, monogrammed "VJHF" at center, dented, 2 5/8" diam., all pieces with wear consistent with age and use an may have small dents and expected scratches, all sold as found.
