STERLING: Ten open salts, mostly British, variety of forms and makers, all marked on base, including: four gilded bowl salts by Horton & Allday, Birmingham, c. 1885 - 1935, raised on triangular base, 4.6 ozt. tw.; five similar round salts raised on three hoof feet, four with London hallmarks, one American stamped "E. T. St. John, Hartford", small scattered dents, 9.2 ozt. tw.; and one unweighable salt comprised of a opalescent shell bowl on weighted silver foot, rubbed English hallmarks, all pieces with wear consistent with age and use which can include minor dents and scratches, etc. [TOTAL WEIGHT of the nine weighable pieces: 13.9 ozt. tw.]
