Smith, Walton" on face, marriage of a possibly English movement with an American built case, complete movement will run with proper service, painted white face with Roman numerals, seconds dial, central crest with portrait of a young gentleman in garden, polychrome spandrels of yellow fruit on blue ground, grain painted case with simple moldings, broken arch bonnet, door with shaped top, plinth base, bracket feet, dial appears to be original to the movement, old glass in hood, seat board replaced and the dial does not fit the hood properly which means and obvious marriage, original paint to dial with touch up to numerals and chapter ring, hands are replaced, weights are period, pendulum with several replaced parts, hood with broken arch, case backboard height: 78" h.
