Description:

Tall clock, Connecticut, c. 1800, unsigned, movement probably the work of an apprentice of Thomas Harland or Daniel Burnap, English dial made by the firm of Osborne of Birmingham and is original to the movement, pendulum and the hands all appear original or period, cherry case with original pierced crest, old but not original finials, bonnet with fluted columnettes and ovoid lunettes at the sides, trunk with inset fluted corner columns, door with serpentine shaped top, bracket feet, case refinished, 7' h. x 17 3/4" w. x 9 3/4" w. not including finials.
