Teapot "Boston Harbor", English Staffordshire, early 19th C., historical transferware, attributed to John Rogers & Son, 1815-1842, Longport, England, deep cobalt blue transfer with spread wing American eagle on shield with stripes, no marks on base, overall good condition with chips to interior rim and chip on lid interior, several small chips on spout, some hairline cracks, sold as found, 8" h. [NOTE: The patriotic view depicted on the teapot has been named by collectors, Boston Harbor, reputedly due to the belief that the city in the background is Boston.
