Conditions of Sale
1. Catalog descriptions are correct to the best of our ability although not guaranteed to be accurate. Buyers should inspect lots or direct all inquiries to Automobilia Auctions at 860-655-8682 before bidding.
2. Catalog will be posted online on Monday, March 25th by 5 pm. At that point customers will be able to leave absentee bids through the online venues, as well as through Winter Associates or Automobilia Auctions.
3. Payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash, business or personal check, wire transfer (buyer is responsible for any bank fees). Business or personal checks must be approved prior to the auction by Automobilia Auctions or Winter Associates. Purchased items may be held by Automobilia Auctions at their facility until check clears. It is the buyer's responsibility to make arrangements to pick up or make shipping arrangements at the buyer's expense. The purchaser agrees to pay Winter Associates all bank fees related to a returned check plus $10 (ten dollars).
4. All sales are subject to 6.35% CT sales tax unless the buyer provides a required, completed and signed State of CT resale form and registers it with Winter Associates. Successful bids shipped out of state are also sales tax exempt.
5. Absentee bids will be accepted in writing, by phone, or email prior to the auction. Absentee and phone bids will close prior to the end of business on Friday, April 5, 2024.
6. Internet bidding will be conducted throughout the entire auction on Invaluable.com or LiveAuctioneers.com. Buyer's premium is 28% for all online bidding. Live Auctioneers bidder's payments are processed via Live Auctioneers Autopay. In-house, phone and absentee buyer's premium is 23% with a 3% discount for immediate payment by cash or known check.
7. Shipping and handling after the auction is available. Automobilia Auctions will remove all purchases from Winter Associates and bring them to their Rocky Hill, CT warehouse after the sale. Buyers will contact Automobilia Auctions to arrange pick up or shipping through USPS, FedEx or other agencies. Automobilia Auctions will coordinate with third party shippers, freight and courier service if requested.
8. Telephone bids on selected items will be accepted. Please make inquiries to Automobilia Auctions directly. Arrangements must be made by the end of the business day on Friday, April 5, 2024.
9. If the auctioneer determines that the opening bid is not commensurate with the starting bid of an item offered, the item will be passed from the sale and remain unsold.
10. In the event of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in deciding to reopen the bidding on the lot and at what level of bidding the lot should be reopened or sold.
11. Starting bids, low and high estimates on each lot are shown as part of the lot's description.

All sales are subject to a 23% BUYER'S PREMIUM; 28% Buyer's Premium on all online venue [Winter Associates website; Invaluable; AuctionZip; LiveAuctioneers] invoices to be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. 3% Discount with Cash or Approved Check.
