TEXTILES: Three c. 1960-70 outfits, one by Emilio Pucci, and one by Bonwit Teller & Co, all deaccessioned from a Connecticut Museum, items include: one Bonwit Teller and Company, American, three piece woman's suit consisting of pants, tunic and belt, c. 1970, black and white pattern of symbols in silk and cotton, small scattered stains, top: 18" bust, 17" waist, pants: 40" l., 28" waist ; second a shirt and pleated skirt set by Emilio Pucci, (Italian, 1914 - 1992) for Lord and Taylor, cotton, pink, both size 12, slightly different hues, skirt: 27" waist, 23" l., shirt: 25" l., 19" bust; and last a belted knit tunic style dress by unidentified maker, c. 1965, black on dark ivory ground with Dalmatian type pattern, leather tie belt, dress: 42" l., 18" bust, 17" waist, all pieces with wear consistent with age including small damages and loss, as is. [Provenance: deaccessioned from the Wadsworth Atheneum, sold to benefit acquisition funds.]
