TEXTILES: Three vintage American dresses, c. 1925- 1937, unidentified makers, deaccessioned from a Connecticut Museum, items include: olive green and ivory tribal print raw silk evening dress with stole and belt, c. 1935, raw hem, measurements made flat: 56" l., 16" bust, 13" waist, 32" l. belt, 70" l. scarf; pink satin evening dress and jacket, c. 1937, fur collar to jacket, "Guy" label, dress measurements: 57" l., 17" bust, 14" waist, jacket: 20" l., 17" bust; and last a summer dress with lace, c. 1925., cotton and linen, ornate floral designs, toned, 43" l, 19" bust, all pieces with wear consistent with age including small damages and loss, as is. [Provenance: deaccessioned from the Wadsworth Atheneum, sold to benefit acquisition funds.]
