Thomas Benecke (American, artist and lithographer active mid-19th C.), lithograph printed in color with additional hand-coloring, street scene in winter in front Barnum's Museum, possibly depicting gridlock caused by Zachary Taylor's campaign, signed and dated (18) 55, in the plate, some tears in margins, some foxing in left margin, light overall toning, framed under glass, image size 21 1/2" h. x 30 1/2" w. (not examined out of frame)
