Description:

Three 19th C. boxes, including: leather covered sewing box with fitted interior and lower drawer, on metal paw feet and elaborate shell flanking handles, metal bird mounts to lid, pink paper and velvet lined interior, heavy wear and loss, damages, 6" h. x 12" w. x 8" d.; tea caddy box with two interior compartments with remnants of silver colored finish, missing lids, area of impact to front of lid, checking, 4" h. x 8 7/8" w. x 4 1/2" d.; and an early box with Federal style shield escutcheon, wallpaper laid on interior base, inlaid decoration to cover, some separating of joints, 2 7/8" h. x 9 1/2" w. x 5 1/2" d., all pieces with wear consistent with age and use including minor damages and loss, all pieces sold as found.
