Japanese actor- and warrior-themed woodblock prints: first Edo period print, bearded actor wearing blue and red woven samurai armor, some wrinkling and toning, oban size, 13" h. x 9" w.; second by Utagawa Toyokuni III (aka Kunisada I, Japanese, 1786-1865), depicting actors Bando Mitsuguro III and Matsumato Kinsho I, Mitsuguro III in the role of Oboshi Yuranosuke, plate 30 from series "The Life of Oboshi the Loyal" (Seichu Oboshi ichidai banashi), published by Miyakozawa c. 1847-52, ss: 12 3/4" h. x 8 3/4" w.; third by Utagawa Yoshifusa (Japanese, active c. 1840-1860), depicting two samurai on snow-covered bridge, from series "Twenty four Famous Generals of Kai" (Kai Nijuyonsho no uchi), published c. 1843-45, ss: 13 3/4" h. x 9 1/2" w.; last two with fading, wrinkles and creases, stains, and loss to frames, all matted and framed behind glass, none examined out of frames.
