Three works on paper: Howard Mortimer Freer (American, 1904-1960): "New Beginnings" or "Year 2250", 1954, preliminary sketched watercolor on paper depicting male figure in front of partially collapsed temple, signed, titled, and dated along lower margin, some wavering of paper, ss: 20" h. x 26" w.; "Newport", ink wash on paper depicting classically inspired architecture, signed and dated LR, titled verso, ss: 23 1/2" h. x 18 1/2" w., both with NBMAA museum deaccession labels verso; along with Margot Rosenthal (20th C., German), mixed media collage of rocky shoreline in teal, brown, and silver, signed LL, ss: 16" h. x 19" w., all matted and framed behind glass, none examined out of frames. [Margot Rosenthal was a student of Connecticut artist Paul Zimmerman (1921-2007).]
