Hopi painted wooden headdress used in the butterfly dance, geometric designs featuring wheel and arch motifs in brilliant colors including brick red, black, ochre, yellow, and sky blue, stepped top, woven reed, fabric, and embossed leather straps and head supports, expected surfac wear including paint loss and checking and splitting, fitted for hanging, 18 3/8" h.
