TRIBAL: Dogon Mask, Mali, early to mid 20th C., wood, pigment, carved of dense hardwood, crest cap, triangular eye openings, abstracted nose ridge and inset straight mouth, adorned with indigo blue pigment, dark brown patina with some deposits, shows some age and use, carved for the Dama masquerade, wear consistent with age and use, 15 1/2" h.
