TRIBAL: Seven carved African masks and carvings: Salampasu headdress depicting devil, black and red painted, burlap head covering with straw beard, 14 1/2" h.; Yuroba bat carving, semi-circle base with figural bat with humanistic features, 14 1/4" h.; double-head carving from Congo, voodoo association, depicts to heads (back to back), each with human hair and a skin/hide overlay, on semi-circle base, some loss/lifting to hide/skin and to hair, 12" h.; devil's mask, comprised of animal horns and pelt, with detailed facial expressions, some hide loss and loose horns, 20" h.; two similar with chalk-white faces and black hair/accenting, one Chokwe male, 10" h.; the other female form, 10 1/4" h.; along with another carving from Dogon people depicting possible devil, black and white-painted geometric design, two pairs of long horns, 26" h., expected wear including some surface scratching, paint loss, checking, and sporadic chipping/loss.
