Description:

TRIBAL: Three carved masks, two similar New Guinea Sepik, the larger depicting a boar with snake coming from mouth, painted black finish and white and red painted accents, shell decorations throughout as well as three curved animal teeth, lined with rush and feathers, old repairs to snake, approximately 38" h.; the smaller depicting bird-type animal with long beak, pink, white and black painted finish with shell eyes and grass accenting along sides, 24" h.; along with a Mossi with carved figural headdress of a standing female figure, carved geometric patterns throughout, painted red, white and black finish, 39 1/2" h., all pieces with expected wear including scratching, finish loss, checking and sporadic loss/chipping.
