Tuttle Family Register, American [Wolcott, Connecticut], c. 1826, probably worked by Sarah M. Tuttle, the register gives as parents Lucius Tuttle (b. Aug. 8, 1776) and Rebekah Harrison (b. Aug. 5, 17-[left blank], married Dec. 19, 1802 [Confirmed on ancestry.com 12-16-13 LZB], ten children, only one of whom is noted as deceased (1826), verse at bottom of the register says: "Soon death will part these friends so dear / Whose years are placed on record here / Time soon with us must [?] / May we our Saviour love and fear / That when in judgment we appear / Our god may prove our friend.", the diamond band border design is similar to that used on the top of Sarah Tuttle's sampler, very faded, 18" h. x 18 1/2" w. frame; 16 3/8" h. x 16 5/8" w. sight. [Sarah M. Tuttle was born Feb. 10, 1820 [see family register below]. She married Elihu Moulthrop of Wolcott (New Haven County), CT. Their son, Evelyn (b. 1841), was killed in Georgia during the Civil War.]
