Two 19th C. Japanese woodblock prints, the first by Utagawa Toyokuni III (aka Kunisada I, Japanese, 1786-1865), "Numazu," with figures in the foreground and Mt. Fuji in the background; the second by Utagawa Kuniteru II (aka Kunitsuna II, Japanese, 1830-1874), "Goyu," with figures in the foreground and two mountain peaks in the background, both from the series "Famous Places along the Tokaido Road" (Tokaido meisho fukei" (aka the "Processional Tokaido"), titled upper right, published in 1863 by Iseya Kanekichi and Sagamiya Tokichi (Ai-To), respectively, some yellowing and foxing, each measures 13 1/4" h. x 8 5/8" w. (oban sheet sizes)
