Description:

Two 19th C. Miniature drawings, one Persian and one Indian, details include: Persian miniature drawing, "Man Holding a Falcon", c. 1850, gold-leaf, blue, green, red and black inks on paper, framed and matted, wear consistent with age and use including some toning, several small creases/tears to edge, LL corner cut and patched, etc., ss: 6 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.; and one Indian miniature of seated gentleman, Punjab province, c.1890, gouache with white opaque and gold-leaf on light yellow-green background, inscription in Hindi at top, minor scattered loss, crease/tear LR, 6 1/2" h. x 4" w., both with wear consistent with age and use, neither appear to be laid down as evidenced by consistent waving of paper, not examined out of frame.
