Two 19th C. terracotta circular bas relief plaques, possibly by principal modeler for Royal Worchester James Hadley (British, 1837-1903), both framed behind glass: first inscribed, "Young Bridget was walking and to herself talking, with a basket of eggs to a neighbouring [sic] town, 'I shall sell them at ease at what price I please'", depicting a confident young girl balancing a basket of eggs on her head; second inscribed, "But woe is to tell, she stumbled and fell", depicting eggs cascading from basket, both signed "Hadley" LR, chipped left finger, both in brown cloth-covered frames, neither examined out of frames, wear, fading, discoloration, and insect damage to frames, both measuring ss: 6 7/8" dia.
