Description:

Two 20th C. inks on paper, including: Carl E. Stills, c. 1966, abstract village landscape, signed and dated LR, ss: 9" h. x 11" w.; and A. Manotti (Italian, 20th C.), "Fontana di Trevi, Roma," c. 1972, cityscape depicting figures lined up around the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome, titled, signed and dated in lower margin along with Italian inscription, ss: 8 3/4" h. x 9 1/2" w., both matted and framed behind glass, both with some toning, foxing, and wave to paper, frame with surface scratching and finish loss. [Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the New Britain Museum of American Art. PROVENANCE: Artwork formerly included in the NBMAA Study Collection.]
