Two Continental etchings of iconic landmarks by Maxime Lalanne and Paul Geissler, details include: Maxime Lalanne (French, 1827 - 1886), "Paris from the Windows of the Louvre", unframed etching, signed and dated in the lower corners of plate, depicts a birds-eye view of the center of Paris, titled in script verso, hinged at top to folded mat with translucent protective overlay, wear consistent with age including even toning, a few small scattered spots of foxing, waving of paper, etc., mat with smudges and wear and detached from backboard, paper size: 9 1/4" h. x 13 1/2" w.; Paul Geissler (German, 1881-1965), "Canal", etching, signed in block and in pencil at right, hinged at top to hinged mat and protected by clear plastic overlay, even toning, few spots of foxing, paper size: 15" h. x 11" w.
