Two Continental prints: Karl Biese (German, 1863-1926), "Springtime", c. 1925, color woodcut depicting young alpine tree with white and pink blossoms, original label verso from "F. Denks, Inc. Art Gallery, 153 West 57th Street, New York," with typewritten artist's name and title, some loss to gilt and green-painted frame, ss: 7 1/8" h. x 6 5/8" w.; along with hand-colored engraving by J.C. Stadler after J. Farington print, "Cliefden", published by J.& J. Boydell Shakspeare Gallery, Pall Mall, Cheapside, London, c. 1793, depicting two aristocratic gentleman conversing under large tree in terraced public park, view of river and manor house in background, expected surface wear to frame, gilt and black églomisé mat, ss: 7 1/2" h. x 11 1/2" w., both matted and framed behind glass, neither examined out of frame.
