Two Early Continental figures, hand-painted wood and wax: white-haired angel wearing robe volante, gilt embroidery and sequins, bell-shaped sleeves trimmed with lace, gilded boots, porcelain eyes, metallic painted wings, comes with larger circular pedestal with glass dome, fingers partially repainted, right wing has large chip and paint loss, figure measures 12 1/2" h. excluding base; along with woman in Mediterranean ethnic costume wearing headband, red vest, cream and gold-colored apron, and pleated red skirt, underside of skirt reinforced with printed paper document in Latin dated 26 August, paint loss and damage to replacement right hand, chipped nose and chin, shattered silk dress, figure measures 12 3/4" h. excluding base.
