Two English wooden utilitarian boxes, likely Georgian, late 19th/early 20th C., the first a knife box with inlaid wood veneer, slanted lid with urn design and edges with strips of alternating dark and light woods, interior with compass rose to lid and fabric-lined compartment, loss to inlay details throughout, veneer splits, lid misaligned, etc., 14 ¾" h. x 8 ½" l. x 11 ½" w.; and tea caddy with rounded well and covered compartments to interior, simple squared veneer box with bone-type lock and interior compartment knob, no key present, damage and loss to veneer throughout, 6" h. x 9" l. x 6" w., wear on both consistent with age and use, sold as is.
