Two European paintings, 19th C., including: "Nuremberg" hand painted porcelain tile, c. 1879, likely English, hand painted scene after "Hangman's Bridge" by Heinrich Deiters (German, 1840-1916), polychrome depiction of large stone medieval bridge over water, "JBW" etched bottom right, back with " JBW LAC 1879" and Howell and James Art-Pottery Exhibition 1879 gallery label, artist name indistinguishable on label, framed, some staining, 9 3/4" h. x 13 1/2" w.; 19th C. painting of two children fishing, oil on canvas, two children fish with bamboo rod in small pond, European style water wheel and mill, framed, unidentified signature lower right possibly "G C Lamborn", framed, scattered in-painting making up less than 10% of total area, 17 1/2" h. x 21" l.; both sold as-is.
