Two pairs of cast-metal 20th C. bookends, lion and swashbuckler: first a pair of circa 1920 lions inscribed "Antonio Canova 1757-1822" on side, damage to felted bottom, large area of discoloration, 7 1/2"l.; second a gilded swashbuckler with sword by Armor Brass Co, red sash and black pant detail, marked on base, 10 1/4" h., all pieces with expected wear including loss of finish and scratches.
